About Our Studio
The first thing you notice upon entering the studio is the warmth. There is the physical warmth created by the 105 degree classroom and there is the warmth of the people connecting with each other and making new friends. Our hope is that BYM will become your home away from home, a place where you will feel safe, cared for, and accepted without judgment or competition.
Whether you have not exercised in years or work out on a regular basis, Bikram yoga has something to offer. We cannot guarantee your personal experience, but if you attend class regularly, and have faith, you will change your body and your life.
A yoga fusion class, combines the core poses and principles of Bikram Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. The Class is created for All levels from Beginners to Advanced Yoga students. ... They integrate fluid transitions from pose to pose, seamlessly linking body, breath and movement in the Ashtanga inspired vinyasa tradition.
Cheryl Webster is originally from Vermont graduated with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. She began practicing and studying Bikram Yoga in 2005. She loved the balance it brought to both her body and life. Pursued her passion with training in the fall of 2010. Cheryl moved to Missoula in the fall of 2012, coupled with owning the studio; she fell in love with the mountains, rivers and outdoor lifestyle, and is making it her new home.
Pam has been practicing yoga for over 35 years. Early on she trained and took workshops with a variety of Iyengar teachers. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s, Pam followed the practices of Dona Holleman and Bikram, becoming a certified Bikram Yoga Instructor in 2004.
In April 2013 she went to Foundation Training with Eric Goodman, and December of that year became certified in Foundation Training. Pam owns and operates her own small studio where she teaches Foundation training classes, and the power of correct posture and alignment as you move though your yoga practice and life
Carrie is a native Missoulian with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University. She has always been interested in health and fitness, as evidenced by her first job out of high school as an aerobics instructor! She started practicing Bikram Yoga in 2002, and has found that a consistent practice offers balance and perspective to her life, which includes working as an ICU nurse at St. Patrick Hospital and raising her kids, Mia and Hayes, with her husband, Tim. She attended the Fall 2015 Sterling Hot Yoga Works Teacher Training and holds an RYT 200 teaching certificate.
Debra Reso is originally from Philadelphia and rode her bicycle out here from San Francisco in 1990 and never left!
Debra grew up in an athletic family and has participated in athletics most her life by teaching, training and competing (wildland firefighting, running, mountain bike and road racing, aerobics, hiking, Pilates and Nautilus).
She has degrees in counseling and social work and has worked as an ambulance medic, so knows what it's like to work with ill health. She was introduced to Bikram Yoga Missoula around 2008 after her own struggles with health and was hooked!! Yoga improved her own health dramatically and she has taught the health benefits of yoga ever since.
Debra graduated with a 500 hour RYT certificate in 2015 from Yandara Yoga Institute, Mexico. Then with a love for Pilates completed hot Pilates training in November 2016.
She is excited to share her love of Pilates and yoga through teaching and has the upmost respect for contributing to others health and wellness---helping to connect mind body and spirit so we may attempt to live through each day as our best selves.
Maddy is a Missoula native with a degree in business management from Montana State University. Maddy first found her love for yoga after completing a 30 day challenge, in Bozeman, MT, during college. After one month, she was hooked on the heat, the practice and the yoga community.
Maddy completed her training in the summer of 2014 and holds her RYT 200 hour teaching certificate. She taught in Bozeman for two years and is looking forward to practicing with the Missoula community.
